INGREDIENTS
FOR THE MARINADE
1/3 c. extra-virgin olive oil
1 onion chopped in chunks
2 garlic cloves squashed
1 Laurel Leave
1/4 c. reduced-sodium soy sauce 2 tbsp. lime (or lemon) juice
1 cup of Burgundy wine
FOR THE STEAK
2 lb. Flank steak
Sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
1 In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, all the other ingredients. Add steak and toss until coated. Marinate for at least 2 to 3 hours, more best.
2 To grill: Preheat grill to medium-high. Place steak on the grill and cook to your liking, about 6 minutes per side for medium-rare. (Cooking time will vary due to the thickness of your steak.) (Cooking time will vary due to the thickness of the steak.)
